College Introduction
Guang’an Vocational &Technical College (GVTC) is a full time regular higher vocational college run by the state, under the direct leadership of the government of Guang’an city. It located in Guang’an, a famous tourism city known as the birthplace of China's former paramount leader Deng Xiaoping, the chief designer of China's reform and opening up policy. It lies in the east of Sichuan Province, adjacent to Chongqing City.
In 1906, GVTC’s root can be traced back to 1906, when Yuechi normal school was founded at Yuechi, Sichuan Province. In 2004, it renamed as Guang’an Vocational and Technical College with the permission of the government of Sichuan province. In 2014, it merged with Guang’an Secondary health vocational and technical school. At the same year Guang'an technician Institute was chartered at the foundation of GVTC. In 2016, It Successfully passed the final acceptance of the construction of provincial Demonstration Vocational Colleges in Sichuan province.
Today’s GVTC consists of three campuses of Bing Jiang, Wan Sheng and Yue Chi, covering an area of 2010 Chinese Mu (or 134 hectares) and a total construction area of 250,000 square meters. It has more than 11,000 full-time students and a teaching staff of more than 500, among whom 128 are full or associate professors and 134 have obtained doctor’s or master’s degree. Currently, GVTC has 9 faculties, offers 45 three year vocational majors and 7 secondary vocational majors in total, including Automobile Application, Automotive Technical Service and Marketing, Nursing, Engineering Project Supervisor, Computerized Accounting, Computer Network Technology, Applied Computer Technology, Garden Technology, Applied Chemical Technology, E-commerce , Normal Art, Visual Communication and Design, Urban Planning, Architectural Decoration Art, Engineering Survey Technology , Engineering Cost, Architectural Engineering Technology , Industrial Robot Technology , Mechanical and electrical integration technology , Software Technology , Mobile Internet application technology , Gem identification and processing , Animation production Technology , Advertising Design and Making , Elderly Services and Management , Urban Gas Engineering Technology, Pipeline Engineering Technology, Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation Technology , Rehabilitation Technology, Primary Education,Pr-school Education, Normal Chinese, Normal Mathematics,Normal English, Normal Music, Tourism Management, Rural Finance, Logistics Management, Property Management, Social Sport, Secretarial Stenography.
The library of GVTC has more than 360,000 books and near 50, 0000 electronic books, and the teachingequipment which worth more than RMB 50,000,000.
In recent years, students of GAVT won prizes in the national skills competition more than 20, provincial skills competition awarded more than 60. College graduates have been welcomed by society. In the near three years, graduate employment rate is more than 95%.

About Guang'an City
Guang'an is a prefecture-level city in eastern Sichuan province, located on a gradually rising section along the edge of the Sichuan Basin. Because of its strategic location, it is called the "Gateway to Eastern Sichuan".
Guang'an has the territory of 6,344 k㎡and the population of 4,700,000. Guang'an has successfully created for “National Civilization City”, “China Top Tourism City”, “National Garden City”, “National Forest City”and “National Health City”. It is also the National Demonstration Area of Sichuan- Chongqing Cooperation, the National Demonstration Area to undertake industrial transfer, the National Demonstration Area of Modern Agriculture, the National Trademark Strategy Demonstration City and the Experimentation Area of Education Reform and Development Constructed by the Ministry of Education and Sichuan Province. Guang'an is a land with convenient communication and superior position. it is one of the nearest city to Chongqing City in Sichuan Province. It takes only 1 hour from Guang'an to Chongqing and 2.5 hours to Chengdu. It takes only half an hour to all counties from Guang'an downtown. HuRong (Shanghai-Chengdu Sichuan) Highway,LanYu (Nanchong Sichuan-Chongqing) Highway, LinDian (Linshui Guang'an -DianJiang Chongqing) Highway are intersected in the territory of Guang'an. Xiangfan-Chongqing Railway and Lanzhou-Chongqing Railway, Jialingjiang River and Qujiang River passes through Guang'an. It is theprefect city with railways, highways and watertransportation in all counties, which are only a few in China. Guang'an port has the design capacity of 700 thousand Standard Container, from there up river, the thousand-ton ships can enter into the Yangtze River Golden waterway.
InternationalStudent Chinese Language program
We intend to cultivate technical and managerial talents who are equipped with an international outlook. In order to promote the internationalization of our higher education in general, we arerecruiting international students to learnChinese language from March,2018 to January, 2019.

Living Condition
Accommodation:4 students will share one apartment,well-equipped with facilities for showering and toilet; well-furnished with bed , study desk; self-contained electrical appliances such as air-conditioner,TV,water heater,and internet.
Canteen:3 meals one day will be in service. the cost in canteen on campus is about 500RMB/month.
Cost of living: It varies with each individual.

● According to the requirements of the program applied, Guang’an Vocational &Technical College may require the students to submit other documents.
